ADHD and autism
Some children are very sensitive to the foods they eat, particularly artificial additives, preservative and sugars. These, together with possible nutrient deficiencies, may exacerbate problems of poor concentration or behaviour.
For children with autism, specific dietary programmes, together with targeted nutritional advice, supplements and the identification of problematic and behaviour-provoking foods, may help improve the behaviour, concentration and social integration of the child.
